I designed a series of holiday gift guide graphics showcasing the perfect Manic Panic gifts for every type of beauty lover— the trendsetter, the natural beauty, the commitment-phobe, and the salon professional. With gift guides being a seasonal favorite, these visuals helped inspire shoppers and highlight Manic Panic’s wide range of product offerings.

For this project, I designed a series of graphics inspired by the “a haunted house but…” meme, capturing the real-life horrors of bold hair color— black box dye you’ll never be able to remove, confused relatives, and unsolicited opinions on “natural” hair.

I incorporated vintage illustrations as backdrops, evoking a sense of nostalgia that aligns with the brand’s rich history in alternative beauty. This blend of humor, relatability, and retro aesthetics made for a fun and engaging Halloween post that resonated with our audience!

Above are 2 graphics I conceptualized & designed for Manic Panic’s April Fools 2024 post. As the mood ring was a huge 90s & 2000s trend, I decided to take inspiration from the magazine layouts of that era to promote this fictional product. I also wrote the copy. Certainly fooled our followers!

This post has amassed over 1.5 million views, over 250,000 likes, and a 21.42% engagement rate on TikTok alone. It also helped increase our TikTok audience by 9.16% within 1 week of posting.
